Silicon Steels is a prominent manufacturer of high-molybdenum austenitic stainless steel in the form of Stainless Steel SMO 254 Rectangular ERW Pipe and Tube. The SMO 254 ERW Tube utilizes molybdenum in stainless steel, contributing to the material's high melting point. The pitting corrosion resistance of the standard SMO UNS S31254 ERW Pipe is guaranteed to be powerful thanks to its PREn rating of 42-44. The Stainless Steel SMO 254 EFW Tube is a stainless high alloy steel that was created for applications involving salt water and chloride-containing medium that is hostile.
Stainless Steel SMO 254 Hexagonal Pipes are used, where the properties of both steel and corrosion resistance are needed. The high molybdenum and chromium content of the SMO 254 Square tubes produces high acidity and can cause problems. SMO 254 Rectangular tubes are constructed from 22 percent chromium (austenitic / ferrite) stainless steel with moderate/high strength, strong overall cracking resistance and stress. The Alloy 254 SMO are high-power, high-performance with 25% chromium (Austinite / Ferrite) steel and high corrosion resistance ropes.
Seamless tubing Stainless Steel 254 SMO has outstanding pitting resistance and corrosion cravings. The 254 SMO Stainless Steel Pipe have a higher strength and decent sodability than conventional austenitic steels, and are also extremely resistant to general corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. The working horse alloys for corrosive applications have bional austenitic steels, and are also extremely resistant to general corrosion and stress corecome the SMO WERKSTOFF NR. 1.4547 Pipe. Regardless of the dedication of the company to provide its customers with ASME SA312 SMO Pipe that suit its specifications, we have always been at the forefront of the industry.
If the properties of both steel and resistance to corrosion are needed, the SMO 254 EFW Tubes are used. The high content of molybdenum and chromium also provides a high acid tolerance to the SMO 254 Square tubes and may cause troubles. SS WNR 1.4547 SMO Tubes are made of 22 percent chromium (austenitic / ferrite) steel with moderate/ good strength and good resistance to cracking overall corrosion / stress. With 25% chromium (Austinite/ Ferrite) steel beams and ropes with an excellent resistance to corrosion, the Stainless Steel SMO 254 ERW Tubes is high power, high performance.

These material are not a single material but the name for a family of corrosion resistant steels. Like many scientific breakthrough the origins of stainless steel lies in a lucky accident. From the smallest part of zipper to the largest building skyscraper, stainless steel is an essential part of modern life.Stainless steel’s strength, resistance to corrosion and low maintenance make it the ideal material for a wide range of applications. It is also has a long life cycle and is 100% recyclable.
We ship our stainless steel metal products in industry leading packaging designed to ensure your order reaches its destination safely. We offer multiple packaging options to meet your specific requirements. Packing is quite important especially in a case of international shipments in which consignment pass through various channels to reach the ultimate destination, so we put special concern regarding packaging. We pack our goods in numerous ways based on the products. We pack our products in multiple ways.
To specify the various physical and mechanical properties of the finished product, various tests, both destructive and nondestructive, are performed. Metallurgical, hardness, hardenability, tension, ductility, compression, fatigue, impact, wear, corrosion, creep, machinability, radiography, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, and eddy current are some of the major tests that are performed by quality control personnel. Metallurgical testing is used to determine the quality of steel by analyzing the microstructure of a sample under a microscope. A cross section of a sample is first highly polished and then examined at a magnification from 100-500 diameters. The microstructure of steel consists of grains of different compositions and sizes.
